Passion

Yesterday I had one of those rough days where I felt empty.. so many things are going wrong in my life and my mind started racing, “well if I need a plan B, I need to find my passion!! But what IS my passion?! Am I the only person in the world who doesn’t have a clear concept of WHAT I am passionate about?!” My mind literally spiraled and spiraled.. You know what that leads to: tension.. bad communication with the family and an overall terrible evening.

I went to bed feeling pretty defeated despite so much recent effort to “master my mind”. I did however, PRAY that I find my passion soon. Welp, God always listens and he sure communicates if you pay attention! This morning, I decided to continue listening to Mel Robbins audio book, “Take control of your Life” and NOT surprisingly, today’s Topic was all about PASSION. As soon as I heard the magic word, my ears felt as if they literally expanded LOL.. The gist of it? Passion is ENERGY. That is it.

Explains a lot! If passion is energy rather than a “destiny”, than my passion is just a feeling about how I am living my life! Mel Robbins emphasizes that passion is realized when you follow what energizes you!!

Her advice is to ask yourself 2 questions:

  1. What makes your energy Increase?
  2. What depletes your energy?

TaDa! My answer to number 1 was EXPRESSING & helping others. I love being able to express myself. I also love the feeling I get when someone feels better because of me.

Forward to a couple of hours later (after tending to work emails, calls, txts, etc..) I started listening to a podcast I recently came across called “Manifestation Babe”.. the entire podcast today was about TAKING ACTION after reading/listening to concepts in order to manifest your happiness. That was Tada moment #2 for me today 🙂 The gist of this one? I can’t “master my mind” if I don’t take my knowledge into MOTION.

In conclusion for my 1st ever Blog post:

1(passion/energy)+1(emotion in motion) = manifestation. I want to manifest happiness and spread that to others.. so I felt inspired to start a Blog. Thank you God for communicating with me and sending me these messages throughout the day!

I can’t wait to continue this Journey and see where my passion takes me 🙂

XoXo
